Caffeiny is an Austrian label. Our matcha comes from Kagoshima Prefecture on Kyushu in southern Japan, first harvest only. Filling, storage and quality control are handled by us in Austria.
One origin, a consistent profile across the batch, a fixed delivery rhythm and a contact in your own time zone.
Because we deliver quality that matcha drinkers appreciate.
Our matcha comes from Kagoshima Prefecture on Kyushu in southern Japan, first harvest only. One origin instead of a blend means the matcha in March tastes like the one in September.
Filling, storage and quality control are ours in Vienna. Shipping goes out of Austria, not from overseas. If you have a question about a batch, the person answering is in your own time zone.
100 % matcha, nothing else. The tin is airtight and refillable, and it protects colour and aroma from light and air. One serving is 2 grams, so 100 grams makes around 50 servings.
Matcha is on more and more Viennese menus. Whoever does it well early has the head start, and the serving size is fixed: costing is more predictable than for most other items.
As a young team we stay close to our partners: personal advice, clear communication, a fixed delivery rhythm. A question is answered by someone who knows the product.

Attractive bulk prices for larger quantities

Our matcha is served in Viennese cafés, restaurants and shops. Whether you want to create new drinks, extend your menu or add matcha to your range: we are your partner.
No. You can start with a single 100 gram bag, around 50 bowls. If you order regularly, we agree on a delivery volume and a rhythm that match what you use. Both can be changed at any time.
A 100 gram bag makes around 50 bowls at 2 grams each. The purchase price depends on the delivery volume: the more per delivery, the lower the price per bag. Tell us roughly what you use per week and you get a real figure instead of a range.
From Kagoshima Prefecture in the south of Japan, first flush, one origin rather than a blend. Ceremonial grade is not a protected term, which is why it appears on very different goods. What sits behind it is the harvest: the first flush in spring gives the tenderest leaves and the mildest profile, while the later harvests of the same year become the café and kitchen qualities. Ours is the first.
The tencha is air milled in a closed process without friction heat, which holds the particle size at around six microns across every batch. Every lot is analysed before milling, every batch is sterilised and tested in Japan, and anything that fails the test is not shipped. Filling and quality control happen in Vienna. The latte in March should taste like the latte in September.
Two grams in the bowl, whisked with hot water that is not boiling, then the milk. With an electric whisk it takes barely longer than a cappuccino, and anyone who prefers the traditional way uses a chasen. If you work with oat milk, add the water first and the milk after, otherwise it curdles. We set the dosing with your team so it stays the same across every shift.
We hold stock in Vienna and usually deliver within two to three working days inside Austria. For regular partners we agree a fixed rhythm, so nobody has to reorder once the matcha has already run out. After your enquiry one of the two of us gets back to you within 48 hours with an offer that fits your consumption.
