Our story

Hi!

We are Elena, Lukas, and Chris. Three friends who didn't meet by chance, but are connected by a shared passion. During our studies, between late-night deadlines, deep conversations, and too little sleep, we were looking for something more than just coffee.

Elena introduced us to the fascinating world of matcha. She showed us how different the qualities can be, from standard to our ceremonial-grade matcha . Lukas brought an Argentinian tradition: mate, prepared with the same care and rituals as in South America. Chris, always interested in health and balance, complemented the group with his passion for natural energy and daily rituals that harmonize body and mind.

What began as occasional drinking evolved into a joyful ritual. Not just because of the taste, but because of the feeling these drinks evoked in us: focused, energized, and a little more balanced in a chaotic world. We realized: we weren't simply drinking a beverage; we were connecting with a culture and a mindful form of energy that resonated with our lives.

But finding truly exceptional matcha and mate proved more difficult than expected. Not the average supermarket stuff, but varieties that make you stop mid-drink and say "Wow." We started contacting small producers, tasting incessantly, studying everything we could find, and learning directly from the source.

Finally, we found partners who embody quality, craftsmanship, and tradition. People who take pride in every single leaf. From this journey, Caffeiny was born: a place for matcha and mate that are not just drinks, but mindful moments.

We're starting with a carefully curated matcha collection (yes, the really good ones) and will gradually expand our range with new mate blends and some special surprises.
