Our ceremonial grade matcha comes from Kagoshima Prefecture on Kyushu in southern Japan. First harvest only: shaded before picking, steamed, dried, stripped of stems and veins, then finely milled.

Dense and slightly creamy, with a natural sweetness and soft umami. No hay note, no scratchy bitterness on the finish.
